The Clarke County Development Corporation (CCDC) has officially launched ClarkeCountyJobs.com, a new digital job board aimed at bridging the gap between local employers and job seekers in the Osceola and Clarke County area.
The platform was created in response to feedback from local business owners and manufacturers who noted that finding and retaining local talent is one of their primary hurdles. According to CCDC Executive Director Andrew Clark, nearly half of the county’s 4,300 non-farm jobs are currently filled by commuters from outside the area.
Key Features of the New Platform:
- Locally Focused: Unlike national boards like Indeed or LinkedIn, this site focuses exclusively on the Clarke County economy.
- Cost-Free: The platform is completely free for both employers to post jobs and for candidates to use.
- Direct Connections: Listings link directly to employer websites, removing AI-driven filters and middle-man automation to ensure transparent, direct communication.
- Strong Support: Major local employers, including Paul Mueller Company and Altec Industries, are already utilizing the board.
The site is expected to be fully operational by May 8, 2026. This initiative is part of a larger strategy by the CCDC to strengthen the local talent pipeline and help residents find meaningful work closer to home.
Employers and job seekers can visit ClarkeCountyJobs.com to get started.
